ABOUT ROMAN J TYSZKIEWICZ

Roman J Tyszkiewicz received his J.D. from the Thomas L. Cooley Law School in 1995 and his B.A. from Michigan State University in 1990. During law school Mr. Tyszkiewicz worked as a law clerk for the Michigan Office of the Attorney General, Retirement Disability Division and upon graduation for the 4th Circuit Court in Jackson Michigan. He was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1995, and also is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan and the United States Supreme Court.

 

Mr. Tyszkiewicz’s practice primarily focuses on workers' compensation law. However he also maintains a general practice with a strong emphasis on family law, civil litigation, personal injury, criminal appeals and criminal defense.

 

Mr. Tyszkiewicz is a hearing panelist for the Attorney Discipline Board, a member of the Michigan Assigned Appellate Counsel System and previously served as a member of the 54-B District Court Bench-Bar Committee in East Lansing and served on the board of directors of the Haven House homeless shelter for families in East Lansing.

 

Mr. Tyszkiewicz has filed and argued cases before the Michigan Court of Appeals and Michigan Supreme Court and filed cases in the United States Supreme Court.
